You will serve as the primary quality and operations point at your assigned market, ensuring that orders areaccurate, complete, fresh, and aligned with customer specificationsfrom the time an order is placed through vendor dispatch and drop-off.
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Officerto join our field operations team in Lagos and Abuja.
This is a hands-on field role suited to someone who isobservant, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced market environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support consumer acquisition and sign-up activities within assigned markets.
- Submit daily activity and quality reports to the City Team Lead.
- Identify and escalate issues involving damaged, missing, incorrect, or poor-quality items.
- Capture relevant field data, take photographs, and maintain accurate daily records.
- Verify goods against order specifications before dispatch.
- Support vendor onboarding and ensure vendors understand quality and order requirements.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer service while representing the company in the field.
- Work closely with vendors to resolve quality and order-related issues.
- Conduct quality checks on orders at assigned markets to ensure accuracy, freshness, and completeness.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experiencein food quality, market operations, logistics, retail, supply chain, or a related field.
- Strong fresh graduates withrelevant market exposure, internships, NYSC experience, or practical field experienceare encouraged to apply.
- Practical understanding of food freshness, spoilage, grading, and quality assessment is an advantage.
- Minimum of HND in Food Science, Agribusiness, Nutrition, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy when handling goods and orders.
- Comfortable using a smartphone fordata collection, photography, communication, and reporting.
- Fluency in thelocal market languageis strongly preferred.
- Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow operational procedures.
- Physically fit and comfortable workingon your feet in busy market environments.
- Good knowledge of fresh produce and food quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot quality issues quickly.
- Consumer Sign-Up Target:
- As part of the field operations team, you will also support consumer acquisition within your assigned market:
- Daily: 10 sign-ups
- Weekly: 50 sign-ups
- Monthly: 200 sign-ups
- Who We're Looking For:
- We're looking for someone who canspot a quality issue before it reaches the customer, communicate effectively with vendors and field teams, and maintain accurate records even in a busy market environment.
