Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer
Location: : Plot L4, Ellicott Street, Kubwa Extension 3, Abuja(FCT)
Key Accountabilities
- Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and environmental conditions in the production area.
- Conduct regular inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards (NAFDAC, GMP, HACCP, ISO).
- Implement and monitor quality assurance policies and procedures across production processes.
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Investigate and report any quality issues or product deviations.
- Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure consistent product quality.
- Maintain accurate quality control records and documentation.
Requirements
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to product safety and quality.
- Strong analytical, inspection and reporting skills.
- Good knowledge of food safety standards, regulations, and quality management systems (e.g. NAFDAC, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP).
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in quality assurance in the food and beverage industry. (Water production will be an added advantage.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- HND or BSc in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food Science and Technology, or a related field.
