We are looking for dedicated Retail Associates to support our Salon Managers in the Lekki store. Responsibilities entail assisting with the day-to-day operations of Kinky Apothecary and partner-brand concessions within our Lekki Salon and include:
Assisting customers with product selection and providing informed product recommendations
Processing retail transactions accurately and maintaining appropriate sales and stock records
Monitoring inventory, conducting stock counts and flagging replenishment requirements
Maintaining product displays, merchandising standards and the overall presentation of the retail area
Driving retail sales, including cross-selling products alongside salon services
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with the following non-negotiable characteristics:
A “people person”—someone who can get on with junior staff, senior management and customers alike
Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
As this is a retail position, candidates must be comfortable standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting or moving product inventory. Regular breaks and a one-hour lunch break will be provided.
A team player
Previous retail experience is preferred but not compulsory; candidates with relevant sales or customer-service experience from other industries may also be considered.
Honesty, reliability and punctuality
Successful candidates will receive in-depth onboarding and product training, followed by ongoing training.
Attention to detail
Previous beauty-retail experience and knowledge of natural hair or haircare products would be an advantage but are not compulsory.
This is not a hairstyling position, and hands-on hairstyling or beauty-service experience is not required.
