Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced, qualified, and results-driven Senior Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 12 years of relevant accounting experience, including substantial experience in the downstream oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of financial management, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop the accounting team.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure effective financial management across the company's operations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor cash flow, treasury operations, and working capital.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
- Manage budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Must be a fully qualified ICAN member.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, treasury management, and internal controls.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience in the downstream oil and gas sector.
- Proven experience in financial management within the downstream oil and gas industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
