We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Cashier
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilties
Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally.
Issue receipts, operate POS machine, handle cash, transfers, and balance daily sales.
Keep the checkout counter/cashier station tidy, organized and welcoming at all times.
Attend to customers promptly and process sales transactions accurately.
Record all sales, cash and expenses transactions properly and submit daily sales report.
Conduct opening and closing cash drawer counts and reconcile daily sales.
Requirements & Qualifications
A background in accounting or business would be an added advantage.
Must reside within proximity to the work location.
Accuracy with calculations and cash handling.
At least 2 years’ experience as a cashier or sales assistant.
Excellent customer service, communication, and basic computer/POS skills.
Must be presentable, honest, and willing to work weekends.
A First Degree in any relevant course.
