We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: CCTV Operator
Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant, responsible, and detail-oriented CCTV Operator to monitor surveillance systems, maintain security, detect suspicious activities, and promptly report incidents.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain alert throughout assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality and protect all surveillance footage and security information.
- Coordinate with security personnel to respond effectively to emergencies.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems across the premises.
- Record, document, and maintain accurate logs of security incidents and daily activities.
- Review and retrieve CCTV footage when required for investigations.
- Report incidents promptly to the Security Supervisor or relevant authorities.
- Comply with company security policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Ensure CCTV equipment is functioning properly and report technical faults.
- Observe and identify suspicious activities, security breaches, and safety hazards.
- Monitor access points, entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
- Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a CCTV Operator or in a security-related role is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance equipment, and video recording software.
- High level of integrity, discipline, and confidentiality.
- Minimum of SSCE / OND or equivalent qualification.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to remain alert, focused, and calm under pressure.
- Good observation, communication, and reporting skills.
