We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: General
Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilties
Identify and report faults, safety hazards, and potential maintenance risks to management.
Monitor the use and availability of maintenance tools, spare parts, and materials.
Work closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Security, Kitchen, and other departments to resolve facility-related issues.
Ensure hotel rooms, public areas, staff areas, and service facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned by management.
Engage and supervise external technicians or contractors when specialized repairs are required.
Respond to maintenance emergencies, including power, water, plumbing, and equipment failures.
Ensure maintenance activities comply with hotel safety standards and operational procedures.
Maintain and repair electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, and basic building systems.
Maintain proper maintenance records, job cards, and equipment logs.
Monitor and maintain air-conditioning units, water systems, generators, pumps, and other essential equipment.
Attend promptly to maintenance requests and reported faults from all departments.
Assist with installation, replacement, and servicing of equipment and fixtures.
Conduct routine inspection, maintenance, and repairs of hotel facilities and equipment.
Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdown and operational disruptions.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree with 3 - 5 years experience.
