Key Accountabilities
- Plan and execute IT audits in accordance with approved audit plans and professional standards.
- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness Of IT general controls, application controls, and cybersecurity controls.
- Any other duty that may be assigned.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to promote a strong control environment.
- Review system development, change management, data management, access controls, and disaster recovery processes.
- Prepare audit reports detailing findings, risks, and recommendations for management action.
- Evaluate compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support investigations into IT incidents where required.
- Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Identify technology-related risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Job Requirements
- Educational Requirements:
- HND / B.Sc / B.Eng. in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related fields.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in IT Audit, Information Security, Risk Management, or related functions.:
- Competency:
- Knowledge Of ERP systems, databases, network security, cloud technologies, and business applications
- Integrity. objectivity, and excellent reporting skills.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Understanding of power distribution operations and energy flow.
- Proficiency in audit tools, Microsoft Office, and data analytics.
